I woke to a condensation drenched tent and favorable conditions overhead. I packed it up, confident it would dry out on my lunch break.
I came across some hungry trees that seemed to be eating the PCT signs along the trail.

Maybe all the moisture revved their appetites up.

It was a picturesque walk amongst several bodies of water of various shapes and sizes.

I strolled through Grace Meadow and was awestruck by its beauty.
It was around this time that I saw a large brown animal dart across the trail. The fur seemed too shaggy to be that of a bear's and the body shape and tail told me it was something else.
The only thing I can fathom it being is a wolverine and they are extremely rare in this part of the country. I drew out my camera, but the elusive beast was not to be seen by my eyes again.
I continued my walk in wonder and soon beheld a magnificent sight, Dorothy Lake. It even had a sandy shore and I dipped my toes in the cool water while enjoying a snack.

Dorothy Lake's beauty was bittersweet, as it marked my departure from Yosemite.
I will definitely be back, there is so much more to explore.

I soon approached a rather stunning mile marker.

Oh yeah!!!

Wow. What a day!
